What is NFTP?
The Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT) has a vision to provide Freelancing Training to empower youth of the nation. In order to bring this vision to verity, a comprehensive National Freelance Training Programme (NFTP) has been designed which provides contemporary training to aspiring freelancers across all provinces of Pakistan. Over the course of 3 years, this program aims to empower 21,600 individuals to be self-sustainable, through its 20 state-of-art centers.

*Freelancing will be taught as a mandatory course along with your selection.
Can I apply in more than 1 courses?
No, you can apply in one course track only.
What are the eligibility criteria required to apply?
- Applicant must have a Valid CNIC
- Maximum Age of Applicant should not exceed 40 years
- Applicant must have minimum 14 years of education (for general public)
- Applicant must be enrolled and have a valid university/college ID card (for partner institutes)
How to apply?
You can apply through these easy steps:
Step 1: Visit our website (www.nftp.pitb.gov.pk) and fill the online application form. You will be asked for your contact details, valid CNIC, city and preferred NFTP Centre.
Step 2.1 (For general Public): If you have 14 years of education (or more), select your degree and institute from dropdown list and mention your acquired CGPA/Marks to proceed to next step.
Step 2.2 (For Students of Partner Institutes): If you are a student at one of our partner Universities / Institutes, mention your degree, semester, CGPA (If applicable) and proceed to next step.
Step 3: Select your domain (Technical, Non-Technical, Creative Designing).
Step 4: Take an online test and submit once completed.
Step 5: If shortlisted, applicants will receive an email / SMS to pay registration fee at designated partner institute and submit scanned copies of challan and other documents (Degree, CNIC, Picture) online for verification.
Step 6: Applicants will be invited for physical document collection and verification of original documents at designated centres.
Step 7: Applicants will now be enrolled in National Freelance Training Program.
What will happen once I am registered for National Freelance Training Program?
Selected candidates will receive an email which will guide them about their orientation details.
Do I have to pay for this training?

What is duration of course?
Duration of one cohort is 3.5 months (3 cohorts in a year)
Will there be any test?
Yes, there will be a 30 min online test consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions of General Knowledge and Analytical Reasoning.
When will the next registration session start?
Registrations start every quarter. As soon as one batch graduates, the registration process for next session begins. Keep following our Facebook page and website for updates.
I have already attended one training course; can I apply for another session?
No you cannot apply again for another training course if you are NFTP graduate.
Can I change the course after registration or shortlisting?
No. You cannot change course after registration or shortlisting. Please choose your course carefully while registering online.
I have completed 14 years of education and I work fulltime, can I apply?
You may enroll yourself as a student if you can manage time for your classes during work hours and maintain regular attendance.
I am enrolled in an undergraduate program. Can I still apply?
If you are studying/enrolled at our partner Institutes / Universities, you are eligible to apply.
I do not have a personal laptop or computer. Can I apply?
Yes, you can still apply. Laptops/ Systems will be provided at the centers. However, you can only use that at our centers during training.
After successfully completing the training, will I be given certificate?
All trainees who successfully complete training will be awarded a training certificate.
